       @Cdubois Any constitutional amendments proposed by an Article V convention of the states have to be ratified by the same difficult process as any other amendment proposed by Congress.  Can't really run amok.

       @darulharb @Cdubois Not to mention, our glorious constitution has already been amended to its detriment.  Just think, senators used to be appointed by their state...
