@Gina this maybe odd to some but I find doing dishes Meditative ... let the mind wander.. ha ha:) Plus when you get in the habit of using a dish, washing a dish it takes no time at all.

@Gina Your dishwasher is perfect for me! I acknowledge we're weird in my house, but we only use our dishwasher as a drying rack. We wash them in the sink and put them in the dishwasher to dry. Everything in our dishwasher is clean, all the time.

@cole Ours works, but the water here is extremely hard, so even when it "cleans", it's not really clean looking? Bugs me. Hand washing works better.@Gina

@mike @kev @Gina Yeah Mike, it's perfectly normal to use a dishwasher as a dryer. πI've been taught to scrub dishes thoroughly before washing it. People find it funny, because it's pretty clean once scrubbed. And then I wash it. π

@normandc not sure how true this is, but I once read that itβs better to not rinse dishes before they go in, because it gives the cleaning βstuffβ something to cling to, therefore making the cleaning process more efficient. That could be complete and utter rubbish though, so take it with a pinch of salt. π @mike @Gina
