I feel like Disco is very much a Star Trek RPG campaign played by devoted teenage 1980s Trek fans.The first season was after having binged on a bunch of Warhammer 40K, and the second after discovering a bunch of anime and maybe the Star Trek Animated Series.It's got a very random energy, enthusiastic but disorganised. It's not terrible, and it's kind of endearing, but I don't expect too much.I do like Pike though. Blatant fan-service, yes, but sure.

@natecull A lot of it is because of the controversy re: early season 1 and the showrunners going full continuity. Also, if you're still at episode five, you've not seen *anything* yet, fan-service is coming.

@orangelamp Starting E7. E6 was a pretty fun wild ride, but I think it should have been two eps to give it time to breathe.I feel like the subtitle for Discovery S1 is 'Klingons Are Dicks' while the subtitle for S2 is 'Vulcans Are Dicks'
