hey if you're worried about corona and are trying to self quarantine and stay home and all that stuff, just remember - you can go outside and like enjoy the outdoors still. it's not like disease is floating through the air. get out, get some vitamin d and read a book or something. make some lemonade or some iced tea and enjoy the sun. forget about the state of panic and all that, because you can still *exist*. just watch yourself around others and leave if you feel uncomfortable.

@ryanlittlefield A man said to the universe:“Sir, I exist!”“However,” replied the universe,“The fact has not created in meA sense of obligation.”

@ryanlittlefield That sounds like good advice, but it can literally transfer through the air, or via third-hand touch of a surface.https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/transmission.html

@ryanlittlefield Hold the sarcasm. As I said, the original statement can still be good advice, it's just that the part about this not being airborn is incorrect.

@malin what i meant was that it's not going to blow down the road to you from the house up the block. or, more correctly, there's a super super super super low chance. if you're within 6 feet of someone, then yeah exercise caution. but other than that, i think you have a pretty good shot.

@malin @ryanlittlefield It can travel via gross people fluids that travel through the air, but it's not airborne according to the link. There's a really big difference.

@Lofenyy I'm not familiar with the technical differences between 'bourne through the air' and airbourne, but I took from the CDC that it could travel between people outdoors, via the air and hard surfaces.

@malin Imagine you've got a piece of lightly soggy bread laying out on a counter top on a warm day. The kitchen is sterile. The bread still gets moldy. This is because the mold is airborne. Now say you're in your own house alone. It's sterile and you don't have the common cold. Would you catch it? Not unless you go outside, touch something infected and touch your face. It's not airborne. I tried reading around and I could be wrong, but this is what I think.
