Three years ago I bought the last affordable apartment in Amsterdam and now I need to find new renters. @Gina You could look at these as example of desperation of the mass of people needing a house in the diversity of #housingcrisis Amsterdam, the city were several families moved away because of exploding "free market" rent raises. How about advertising in a different way ? e.g. via mailing lists, chat rooms, emailing, forums within your own networks ? That could give you different replies. Good luck ! :)

@cantinto Honestly I'm pretty chill as far as landlords go. The apt is completely renovated, everything is new, and in the winter my dad and I isolate everything extra so that the house stays nice and warm. Meanwhile, I could set my current rental house on fire and it still wouldn't get warm.

@nvsr Yeah it's absolutely insane now. I could charge an exorbitant amount of money (I feel like I sort of already do), but it just feels wrong. Amsterdam is completely ruined.

@Gina I always lost money on the deal, but I was losing money less fast than if it was empty, and I couldn't afford to sell it, so "landlord" I was until prices recovered enough to cover my mortgage.
