One of the 0.21 roadmap items is the ability to federate reports with other #funkwhale pods and ActivityPub projects.I've got a working prototype in the video below, showing a report federating from Funkwhale to Mastodon, and from Mastodon to Funkwhale. Federation from Funkwhale to Funkwhale is implemented and works too (with support for our reports category, like "Invalid metadata" or "Takedown request").Hopefully, it will make moderators job easier and help increase the safety of the platform. If you're interested, the feature itself is rather small : https://dev.funkwhale.audio/funkwhale/funkwhale/-/merge_requests/1049/diffs (less than 500 added lines, which I consider small for a feature that involves federation :D)

If you're not using Mastodon but another ActivityPub software such as Pleroma, would you be kind enough to try reporting @demo and notify me when it's done, so I can ensure we also support receiving reports from other implementations?Similarly, if you want to help us check that Funkwhale can send reports to your own server, please send me a message with a username I can report :)

@eliotberriot I'm not even able to find the account on Pleroma :/ I'm trying to look on url ( https://channels.tests.funkwhale.audio/@demo ), doesn't find anything, but it also doesn't find anything when I try on mastodon (glitch). When I try username@domain ( demo@channels.tests.funkwhale.audio ) I DO find it on Mastodon, but still not on Pleroma... Should accounts work with Pleroma? If yes, I may need to upgrade first or maybe check if I see something in the logs.To test reporting from funkwhale to pleroma, feel free to report this account

@ilja thank you for trying! I've pushed several fixes today, which should improve compatibility with Pleroma and Glitch-soc. Can you please try again and let me know if it works for you?I've sent you a report from @demo by the way :)

@eliotberriot Yes, I was able to find the user now using the URL on both Pleroma and Glitch! 🎉I've reported the user from Pleroma and sent the rapport to the target server, so you should have received it.I'm NOT seeing the report you sent me however :blobsadrain:

@ilja I did receive it!So it works from Pleroma to Funkwhale but not the otherway, that's something! I'd be interested to know if you have any errors in the Pleroma logs?

@eliotberriot I'll remember for next time, but I'm afraid it was too late for that already. I saw further down the thread that you got it working now, so yeah! Good job!

@ilja So, I don't know if you're running on stable releases, but if you don't, that's something that could use some testing :)

@eliotberriot I'm running stable, but I sometimes set up an instance for testing/playing around. I'll see if I can set up one with latest develop

@mewmew For pleroma this is my "main" one. There was also someone who wanted to set up fedi.be, so I set up the instance there (and do the updates). But I use yunohost as OS and wrote a package for pleroma. So if I want to test stuff, I can run the package and if all goes well (not all is going well atm because the install script is from before 1.0 :D ) then setting up and upgrading is rather trivial.(I'm also technically co-admin for a glitch-soc server, but the reality is that I only updated it once and the person who usually does it was standing right behind me literally telling me what to type, so doesn't really count  )
