#JoeBiden has the same chance of beating The Apprentice as Clinton did. Close to zero. The polling consistently showed that #BernieSanders had the best chance of beating him in 2016, and the same is true this year. If the Democrat elite manage to marginalize Sanders again, they are allowing Agent Orange to win. Intentionally.

How does another 4 years of Clown President help the Democrat elite? It makes the socially liberal form of corporate globalization they shill for ("#neoliberalism") look attractive by comparison. After 8 years of a hard right executive, it's easier to sell a return to the centre-right as a return to the "left", and something the left are traitors for not supporting in 2016 and 2020.

@strypey I don’t think winning or losing matters to them. It’s all about appearances. That’s why the impeachment was such a farce.

@lnxw48a1 I don't have any interest in reading sneering PR pieces, thanks. I stand by my comments. If Biden wins the primaries, he will lose the Democrats the election. If he becomes President, I will eat my hat and post a video of it on PeerTube.

@lnxw48a1 also NBC are hardly unbiased. In 2016 most Sanders supporters did hold their nose and vote for Clinton, but as #MichaelMoore pointed out, they had no enthusiasm for convincing their social networks to do the same. I have yet to look at the numbers but it wouldn't surprise me if the Super Tuesday result was more to do with supporters of all the dropouts boosting Biden's previously miserable showing, rather than any failure by Sanders supporters to show up. Percentages are tricksy.

@strypey so am I allowed to vote Bernie in the primaries *without* being a conspiracy theorist, or is it actually required? Cause I feel like Bernie is my next best choice after Warren, so I'd be inclined to vote for him, but I don't know whether my brain is qualified. For example, I've never listened to Joe Rogan and I believe the earth is round.

@strypey Totally agree, but I've probably gone even more pessimist on this matter... I feel like they have already fucked this up royally. I don't think it was an accident that many dropped out just before super tuesday, remaining on the ballots to needlessly absorb votes, similarly I think that Warren stayed in for no other good reason than to take votes from Bernie. The Democrats have failed the Left... I don't think we can expect to fix things in the US thru the usual channels anymore *cough*cough*USA yellow vest time?!?*cough*
