       My Epson inkjet printer is very slow if not defiant at printing my text files. I have updated drivers, turned printer off and on again. A grayscale text file under 2K should not take eight minutes to print

       Brother lasers in both BW and colour have been my goto in recent years. They have good support for linux and don't have an evil chip like epson.They aren't as good quality as the old HP BW lasers, but then, nothing is.@cosullivan @VivekT
