@sir @succfemboi I assume you did, but did you follow the mess of a BIOS config guide in https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Dell_XPS_13_2-in-1_(9365)?I have the 9370 which is a loosely similar machine (in a traditional laptop frame and running on a newer chipset) and I remember having some fun getting the NVME to show up but then it never needed screwed with again

@sir @succfemboi firmware fully up to date? (may require Windows initially)shame this thing isn't coming up smoothly for ya - I remember the 9365 being a very popular pick for Linux convertibles a couple years ago in spite of the s2idle nonsense. *sigh*

@klardotsh @succfemboi the firmware reported in the BIOS matches the latest firmware available from Dell. The NVME firmware might need to be updated, but I can't boot windows either after all the fucking about I've done so far.

@siri dont own such a device but it should do sth as soon as the .efi file is registered in efi with efitool. except maybe if tpm verifies signatures. i once had a full efi bootloader with too many entries to hold another one. @klardotsh @succfemboi

@sir how do they fuck this up on so many machines> The M.2 NVMe SSD hard drive may not be detected on startup or reboot on Precision 15 5000 (5510) or XPS 15 9550 laptops. Follow the solution steps outlined in this article to resolve the issue.
