       @thatbrickster  (^^^: I mean you could argue that there is. That's why it's an actual debate, and why there's documentaries made about it. You could say that's anthropomorphising, which makes sense, because plants are so different from animals that I don't think it's possible to really comprehend a plants experience. It's like how people thought animals couldn't feel pain or emotions, or how lots don't believe fish can. Ultimately it's just an egocentric way of justifying a selfish human-centric world view.
