@J @p @l0wk3y All studio productions after 1980 preserved the original negative. That's when they realized that any content could be released on VHS. By 1970 MOST of it was being preserved. There are very few TV productions shot on film that have been lost. Only BBC video series were still being lost in the 1970s because they were so cheap they would reuse the videotapes.
