       where dyall buy shoes? i seem to consistently have the worst luck- shoes fall apart- new shoes give me some kinda tendonitis- my old winter shoes have a giant hole in the sole ..

       Like there literally aren't quality shows in the stores i looked. Leather shoes, high price tag, but when you look closely, it's glued and will not make two seasons ... also the sole is probably too soft to last as well. Pricey sport shoes, didn't survive one season of occasional biking..

       @piggo my experience is that hiking shoes have a much greater survival rate. If you can spring for them, I have some boots from https://www.bakershoe.com/ that have lasted me ten years or more.

       @piggo I'm in Australia so I got wrecked on shipping but it was worth it. because they're made properly a good cobbler can repair them easily too.
