@steph @null @SamanthaCayne if i recall from my conversations with my doctor, the main issue with pills is that they hit your liver. not dangerous, but its work that it doesn't have to do if you inject.

@steph @SamanthaCayne it only works fine for around 1 in 4 trans girls, and it always has. just now research has caught up and we know that now my levels were pretty shit on pills and I was on 8mg a day

@xj9 @steph @SamanthaCayne only if you're swallowing them the biggest deal is for some reason people's bodies like to convert all that incoming estradiol to estrone and estrone is not terribly effective as an estrogen

@steph @SamanthaCayne @xj9 just get a total estrogen test, it's usually cheaper and it shows you pretty much the same thing once you subtract your estradiol level from it

@steph @SamanthaCayne @null I don't think Estradiol injections hurt, but I used to sell my blood so i'm probably just used to needles.I'm on pills this week because I didn't have time to inject on Sunday. only diff I notice is my sex drive is higher on pills, but its evened out a lot since I started cycling progesterone.
