       Observation: When removing a sock after a period of time, moving the hair on your leg/foot is uncomfortable. Also true of hats and head hair. Not true of underwear and pubes.Theory: Straight hair gets pressed flat in one direction, which is what causes the eventual discomfort at the root. Pubes are curly and aren't pressed in any one direction long enough to be affected.Experiment: Straighten pubes.
