       It's been far too long since I saw the first three, but I'd like to know whether I should plan to watch just those or include the new ones.

       @alexbuzzbee The first is generally seen as good if safe, the second is controversial, the third is a metric ton of disappointment.

       @alexbuzzbeeEpisode 7 is complete trash. It is simply a standard Disney attempt at getting more money. The plot is a poorly masked revision of episode 4 with little to no character development. Episode 8 tries to fix some of the pointless problems 7 introduced but falls short of the goal.Episode 9 is actually good and worth watching. I would rank it above attack of the clones without a doubt. If you happen to be into EU stuff you will love some of the things they pull in.

       @alexbuzzbeeAlso, Rogue One is surprisingly really good and worth watching. I might even venture to rank it fourth after the original trilogy.

       @alexbuzzbee No. There's 2½ good Star Wars movies.TFA & Rogue 1 weren't offensively bad, just pointless recycling. TLJ & Solo are offensively bad. Haven't and won't see ROS. Lucas' prequels are still worse, but that's old news.#starwars

       @alexbuzzbee Each trilogy has its own distinct style. If you're expecting the new trilogy to be like the other two, you'll be disappointed.I like the new movies, though. They feel new and different, which I think is why some people love them and some people hate them.
