A little dream project I won't be doing because no time: A DIY featurephone with Fedi and XMPP instead of Facebook and WhatsApp.Could probably work something out with Adafruit FONA for GSM and an Arm Cortex with Mbed OS.I wish those existing featurephones were easy to mod and have their included software replaced. 🤷

@polychrome I use that phone and the OS is not good. It's so slow and unresponsive. Who thought web tech and low-end phones were a good fit?

@alva I suspect the hardware is too low end for it. B2G was designed to be light weight but even the FirefoxOS phone I have has issues running smoothly - though the OS was barely alpha at the time so I didn't put it against it.
