Who in their right mind would live in Baltimore?"Mancuso laid blame for the attack on the city's current elected leadership, which he characterized as asleep at the wheel"......."Until new leadership is elected and appointed, this lack of respect for the law and those who enforce it will continue and deepen"The infamous Balitmore State's Attorney, Marilyn Mosby accused the union of “fanning the very flames they then call on me to put out,”She is contemptible.https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/video-crowd-stomps-on-baltimore-police-officer-during-attempted-arrest

@MistyNan My family. They legally migrated here from Germany right after WWI. They arrived, got jobs, learned the language & educated all their children. Assimilated! They lived the American Dream. Then came the Demonrats. They took over the city & as they are wont to do, destroyed Baltimore.Once called “Charm City”, it has been dubbed “murder capital of America” TWICE. Last Republican mayor left office in 1967.

@watspn1013 Very sad to see that happen to a once beautiful & proud city. Unfortunately, we see it again & again when Democrat rule takes hold. Wonder why the citizens of these decaying cities don't see it & vote differently?

@MistyNan Demographics changed. Majority buy into the “plantation” mentality offered by the Demonrats. Those who actually pay taxes move out to the suburbs. Those left suck off the never empty teats of the Demonrats. It hurts to see the denigration of such a once proud city. And home of Fort McHenry-birthplace of our National Anthem!

@watspn1013 Sounds like there is no one living there who would govern differently anyway. I guess the city is doomed.

@MistyNan One idiot, Mayor Rawlings, gave rioters a “safe space” to destroy! And they did too! The MLB Orioles & NFL Ravens have their stadiums downtown & the magnificent National Aquarium is there as well. But getting to those places is the problem.

@gbug1129 Harbor Place is not safe even in daylight. Crime is rampant. Many of the wonderful little shops & boutiques there have closed. Darn shame! They have a light rail that runs from the stadiums out to the suburbs. My youngest daughter & I rode it ONE time. A crazed man got on brandishing a Bowie knife at every passenger. Told my daughter to stare out the window & not move. Driver sits in a bullet proof spot. We were all frozen until the next stop 5 minutes away. STRICT GUN LAWS!

@gbug1129 I’ve spent the night at the Stanley Hotel (The Shining) and was more scared on that ride. The cops came in the front door of the light rail car and the man jumped out the back door. Can’t carry in Baltimore, but I do carry a folding pocket knife. It was out, opened and ready for action if needed.
