       I’ve got a question. I’m going to take it out of context because I can’t talk about the context on a public forum but would value your thoughts anyway.Is it possible to consent to a humiliating or degrading practice/behaviour or experience if you don’t feel like you have the economic power to reject it?

       @classybitch I’m trying to keep things as vague as possible. It’s a sort of established protocol that involves public fining/punishment of individuals for noncompliance/non-completion of established tasks. I think public humiliation is something you can’t consent to if consent is tied to your employment.

       @BarefootWitch @classybitch many employers use coercion, it's abuse and should be illegal, you can't consent if it's tied to your employment. This is why I'm in favour of ubi, everyone needs a guaranteed income so they can say no to unethical employers.
