       Finding gross ableism in my favorite book really sucks. (Two character assert without contradiction that disabled people cannot have sex. Specifically a blind man and a man without legs. )

       @kazuma I didn't notice it 10+ years ago when I first read it.  But I certainly notice it now and it really makes me super sad.  Given other things in the book, I think the author has a problem with some unaddressed ableism.  It's so disappointing, because I otherwise adore the book.
