       I'm attempting to smoke some chicken breast tonight. I used different spices and rubs for a few of them. Hoping they turn out ok.

       I'm out out cherry and apple wood, so I'm using hickory instead. Hoping that isn't too strong for the chicken.

       @jordan31 how'd it go? I ruined some pork with too much hickory in my first days smoking things. Haven't used for anything except beef since.

       @dctrud I accidentally forgot them on the smoker, only meant to leave them on for another 15mins but ended up watching a few episodes. Still very edible and good but a little dry. The two I brined stayed juicy though and really good.

       @dctrud I absolutely love the smell and taste of hickory, so hard to ruin any meat smoked with it IMO, unless its turned to charcoal lol.
