It's strange how your thoughts and emotions fluctuate, one minute, you want to read, write, cook, workout and make new friends, and the other, you are questioning your very existence.

@Rounaknayak Think it comes because in that short time we have lived our life in our head and then there is no answer for what's next

@Vishsai Perhaps. Or perhaps, we're tired of the routine and the monotony, of the things we have and of the things we don't, of the things we wished and the things we couldn't achieve, of the life we wished to live, and the life we are living. Or rather, surviving.

@Rounaknayak looked like two different explanations for the emotional fluctuations. I liked the second one because it was simpler and more to my liking. What's life though?@Vishsai

@Rounaknayak See this is where I like Matrix. Life is always an option. It's up to us to choose those options. We have all the control to choose and our life becomes an accumulation of our choices. @IshaKaushik

@Vishsai @IshaKaushik Maybe you're right, maybe you're not. While I like the optimism and positivity that your comment brings along with it,I have come to believe that the options you choose and the decisions you take does not always take you towards the goals that you set for yourself. Sometimes, being hardworking and meritorious isn't enough.Sometimes, without privilege, you will be left to struggle despite being good at what you do. And struggle is not an option

@Rounaknayak but what is privilege? Something that one might consider a privilege might me an obstacle for someone else. And struggle is an option. You need to make the conscious choice to continue it everyday. Or make peace with the status quo.@Vishsai

@IshaKaushik @Vishsai Well, a person could be privileged in several ways.Born with a silver spoon.Nepotism.Favoritism. While you see your friends pursuing further studies, despite wanting to do it, you may not be able to do it because you have responsibilities and financial restraints. In fact, just as you point out the privileges of others, who have it easy, there are plenty of them who weren't as privileged as you to even complete their graduation or schooling.

@IshaKaushik @Vishsai The point is, someone who wishes to be a writer or an actor may not be able to do so because to fend for himself or herself and his or her family, he will, sometimes, have to do things he may not enjoy as much. He or she doesn't have much of a choice/option there.

@Rounaknayak First of I think it's good you are able to open up and talk. So it's positive. Second it's all choices. He can ignore his family and struggle till the day he died without succeeding. But that was the choice he made. Choices doesn't mean it is correct or it gives you success or happiness. No choice gives you the control to do what's next. To reply to this toot is a choice. @IshaKaushik

@Rounaknayak Wantingand calculating success are again choices. We can choose to want something else. We can choose to do something else. But we choose to spend our time wanting and calculating success. Most people think they don't control their choices but that's an illusion in itself. In the matrix we are seeing the version where his series of choices has led to the optimum result. But when he enters the room he had seen that he had lived the same scenario multiple ways. @IshaKaushik
