@ThomasWic I have a black daughter in law and a black granddaughter. Her family is a little awkward around us, but they will get over it. My son asked me how I felt about them getting married. I told him as long as they loved each other and treated each other with respect I was happy for him. Color of skin don't matter. He had a girlfriend who treated him terrible- pale as a ghost and 30 pounds overweight. A fit black girl who treats him well is way better.

I always do everything I can to keep my promises. Why would anyone want to let people down? If you aren’t going to keep your word you can easily not give it in the first place.
