I got a projector for christmas and it has HDMI/composite inputs which means my NES/SNES/and Switch should work in it, but not the Wii, which is mostly a gamecube emulator at this point, so this means that in the year of our lord twenty nineteen, I am looking for a GameCube.

@tesseract yeah, it has to have the digital out on the back. i got a used gamecube from ebay for less than $50 with one, just pay close attention to the pictures/listing to ensure it has it (the listing lies, ensure the pictures look unique and show the back with digital out)

@anna hrm, i wonder if there is a non-ebay source for these things, (i cancelled my ebay account after getting scammed and ripped off for $90 on ebay)

@tesseract maybe, idk, i like never use ebay until i got into this stuff lol. can check out craigslist, vintage game stores/expos, but will probably be more expensive. i knew my local store that sold me pso for $75 wasnt letting me walk out with a gamecube for less than 3 digits of money lol

@anna well, the thing is i recently cancelled my ebay account (which i had used exactly as you do, as a source for vintage game and music equipment) but after getting ripped off and calling ebay customer service about it who basically told me to go fuck myself, i’m finished with ebay

@tesseract im sure you can find a gamecube elsewhere, its just effort. not sure where to find an sd2sp2 offhand but im sure people sell them elsewhere
