       Yay, it's working now!  I had a suspicion that the Digium (clone) card isn't putting out the same oomph as Ma Bell. Changing to weak bias (shown on the website below)  brought back that wonderful 2500 two gong ring. ☎️ https://beatriceco.com/bti/porticus/bell/telephones-technical-ringers.html
