First Xmas Dinner of the season, hosted by friends. Friend of said friends, who I think they've been trying to set me up with, mentioned how he's having an online argument with a T**F. I, as the kids would say, went off. This was not an exhilirating experience. Dinner ruined. Still trembling.

This is the biggest real life conflict I've had on this so far. I wish it hadn't happened at a lovely friends' dinner. But I'm glad I challenged. It was like talking to a brick wall though. I put forward reason, he didn't listen, replied with slogans and platitudes. There goes that friendship. But probably for the best, eh!

I should mention that about 3/4 way through the argument he pulled out “wot about intersex people they're the same as trans people" and I was able to school him in a relatively calm and informed fashion, thanks mostly to @Mrkhvoice

@BarefootWitch my host friends are still friends (they have more nuanced opinions on this) but that guy isn't. Which is a blessing, tbh. I actually now feel better for knowing he's a bad'n and for spinster and solidarity :)
