       @Ladycult That is exactly what it is. You probably know this but, in the 1966 book "The Transsexual Phenomenon" it says that the term "transgender" was coined by the straight male cross dresser "Virginia Prince" to distinguish himself from transsexuals (who were those dysphoric people who had the surgeries etc) and to create an "acceptable face" for his paraphilia / sexual fetish. This is why the trans community now fiercely oppose the use of the term "transsexual". All the fetishists want to do away with that distinction to they can walk in society disguised as transsexuals, all blended in together so nobody can tell or even ask which is which. Self ID and access to women's single sex spaces just brings this to its natural conclusion by leapfrogging the medical sector and any checks and balances altogether. I am sick to my stomach that Governments are legislating to enable this.
