       The little one next to me is not at all accepting the fact her iPad needed to be put away.shrieking has only stopped when mom's phone comes out.Am I an old fart now? The kids...shouldn't be this attached to screens. Books...maybe. not screens.

       @aag we have a pretty solid rule - no idevices until ~ 14 years old based on recent research in Germany. They're far far far too addictive.No TV.Computer stuff after homework, rooms tidy, and only if good behaviour in last 24h.We stretch the rules when kids are tired or on long travels, but their iDevice time would be ~1-2h month max. Computer time < 4h total. Seems to work just fine, kids are all 10yo or less.
