@musafir Such a beautiful picture. It makes you realise where the hell do we live. What did we do to deserve this ? 😣Do Finland accept Indians 😜?

@Poonamsharma Finland is one of the most amazing countries in terms of education and education policies. And they do welcome Indians. A lot of my friends are there.

@musafir Yes I am aware of that fact. There teaching is the most respected job. Students start schooling from the age of 7 years . No play school and all. Education is more of learning, experimenting and evolving oneself .

@Poonamsharma Finland has high income taxes. The good thing is that the government uses the money well and that has led to a very progressive population @musafir

@wabbster I don't know much about Finland just think of it as a Scandinavian country with huge oil reserves. But isn't the main difference with India that is has a low population and huge oil reserves. Direct Tax in the UK you ended up paying at least a third of your income if you were in the lower brackets obviously if you were in the highest bracket you just paid an accountant and he made sure you didn't pay any tax at all. I presume that's the way in Finland also @Poonamsharma @musafir

@DesCoutinho @wabbster @Poonamsharma @musafir My feeling is Scandinavian people are more egalitarian (maybe the oil wealth + taxation & spending strategy helps) and also poor people will not be able to survive the bleak weather thereSo one of the reasons we have so much inequality in India is that poor people can survive in our conditions (plus the casteism & social structures preserve & contribute to the inequality)
