@ParadeGrotesque I think it depends on the context and the ability to NOT see it. For example, on Mastodon, if media is labeled as sensitive, and the post is tagged as including nudity, etc., then that's okay. In other forums where there is no option of protection from it, then I would say no.

@xmanmonk I get your point, but do we (specifically) allow pr0n on #sdf ?To me, that's not what this instance is about.I'd be interested in other users inputs and opinions.

@ParadeGrotesque My opinion, for Mastodon, is to allow it IF it's properly marked as sensitive media, and properly tagged as to what one will see if they click on the sensitive media.

@ParadeGrotesque @xmanmonk I would have to stop using Mastodon at work, which would make me sad

@ParadeGrotesque Personally I feel that it would be A Bad Thing to say that users of the class "real people whom we know" must never post anything with nudity or sexual/erotic content. That is far from a complete answer, but it is the part that I consider important.New accounts out of nowhere posting stills or clips from commercial pornography, on the other hand? Go ahead & nuke 'em.
