@kosame Do you really have to drink iced coffee at this time? An odd thing at anytime, espresso for me, hot off the Italian machine, please. ☕ :cupofcoffee:

@kosame I can relate to it being too small. The flavour is so good, I want it to last more, although a double one is hard on the heart.so I tend to order a single shot, into a larger cup, extracted with more water. In Portugal, where excellent cofffee is quite common and delicious, it's called an Abatanado.Sometimes called an 'Americano' in other places, although I don't like the name myself (too many bad coffees in the country).posted originally here: https://qoto.org/@design_RG/103142026247355138

@moonshine They do get that dark overtone sometimes, but are very popular, with both locals and tourists traveling in #Portugal. But if you don't like it, fair. There are many more delicious sweets there you could choose from.@kosame

@moonshine I have seen frozen ones here in supermarket cooler, but am sure they will be a disappointment. The original is good, sometimes divine. The best ones, the crusts is laminated and crunchy as you bite into it. "Estaladiço" as the locals say. 😋 @11112011 @kosame

@design_RG @moonshine @kosame Zatar is good, but it's just a spice. You gotta eat it with other stuff. (It's Hyssop in English, if you don't know.)

@Surasanji Hyssop, I have never heard of. Zatar, I like it with olive oil, spread it on a plate, add fine olive oil, mix and then scoop it with pieces of bread, hand cut.Delicious and packs a bunch of calories, due to the olive oil.Ah, looked up Hyssop, and it's not what I am thinking of. Zattar ou Zatar is a mix of condiments, based on thyme, salt, sesame seeds, sumac and more.https://www.britannica.com/plant/hyssopWiki has a page about it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Za%27atar@moonshine @kosame

@Surasanji best Zatar we used to have here in Canada came from Syria, and sadly the country self destroyed with their horrific civil war. Now no more from there, it's Jordanian, sometimes Lebanese.Quality and flavour does vary, as the herbs used are all natural ingredients.@moonshine @kosame
