NEFT is going to be available 24/7 from December 16. This means UPI opted out customers like me have a 24/7 option for fund transfer without using costly IMPS

@anivar Have not really looked at the service charge they levy. I have so far been thinking it is all free.

@obscurosaur @anivar Not too much difference in the pricing.HDFC Bank NEFT charges -Upto Rs 1 Lakh - Rs 2 + GSTAbove Rs 1 Lakh - Rs 10 + GSTIMPSAbove Rs.1 to Rs 1 Lakh - Rs.5 + GSTAbove 1 lakh to 2 Lakh - Rs.15 + GSTFrom @logic You are involving a 3rd party NPCI in the process. NEFT has faster auto reversals on failed transactions (2 days) as against IMPS (7 days). NEFT is faster among large banks, largely same day, sometimes even same hour, as against instant IMPS.
