@IshaKaushik Kannada is probably the easiest to learn. Lot of common words between Kannada - Sanskrit - Hindi. I tried and failed learning Malayalam. if you learn Kannada, Telugu will be easy for you. So is Tamil. @Neeneen @KayKap @Vishsai

I was annoyed, because there are people creating entire fictional languages like Klignon, and then in Bollywood you *have to* switch to Hindi for the box office.

@Neeneen Lol. In Bahubali, Lyricist Madhan Karky created a fictional language called Kiliki spoken by the Kalakeyas. Sounds funny but he made the language with about 750 words and 40 grammar rules. @Neeneen you can read the script? I tried learning it but gave up in less than an hour. All the letters look same. Gurumukhi is interesting though. And you don't need to learn all the languages. As long as you can speak 1 from each region you can understand the others to some extent. Like Bengali would help in Assamese and tripuri and hindi in all the dialects.
