Well, it turns out our I don't need to bother filling out my ESA form.as they've scheduled an assessment anyway. For Friday. I got the letter today.

@LaDolceEater the two things are considered separately and in combination by the Decision Maker, and would also form part of any appeal. Rotten you have to go, I wish you had pro support to go with you and to fill in the form.

@LaDolceEater fair, IMO, I hope you can get that point across in this short time! Sorry if I'm telling you things you know - because you were just reacting to the absurdity of the appointment, but just wanted to make sure you knew (and in case anyone else is reading along!) that you do still have to fill in the damnable form.stinks. really, really stinks.

@FeartnTired I've been doing this a long time, but today really takes the cake. They used to give 2 weeks notice of an assessment, now it's one. Factor in 2nd class post and you get 3 days. So I ring to explain this cannot happen. The latest they will postpone to is the 20th, and they want my GP to FAX THEM a letter to say I need a home appointment. I'll be away from the 15th-20th. So that means I need to get the GP in the incredibly busy inner city practice I go to, to turn this around in the next couple of days. It's unreal.

@LaDolceEater The Chronic Illness Inclusion Project https://inclusionproject.org.uk/ has a question about Universal Credit (which eventually everyone on ESA will be moved into with (currently) the same WCA checks to qualify. Thing is I don't know how to answer. Big picture, ideal world Universal Basic Income, but the UK is in no way stable enough to bring in a system like that any time soon, if ever I have to wonder. So reform of UC? The principle behind it is a good one - it's just been hijacked as a tool to punish the poor and the disabled, as usual.https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScJ5IipE8NAu5OvIjiqD75a-YE_YTnqVJnDriHadOi10MyY6A/viewform

@FeartnTired @LaDolceEater what i dont get... Is womxxn get paid 30% less. So how is paying males a universal basic income going to raise womxxn out of poverty. Personally males dont need a basic income. They need to pay reparations
