       @Sphinx Welcome to QOTO, I am also new here. I like your introduction, and chose Qoto for similar reasons - it seemed well managed, with nice policies for users, besides the large post allowance.Sphinx would be a good nom de guerre for someone in Intelligence work, but very uncommon for normal day to day use. I am a retired teacher, used to be in Technology and Math, computer tech, woodworking, etc. Nowadays mostly reading, enjoying my bicycles when weather is nice, dreaming of traveling again in the next Spring possibly. Cold season is coming, here in Canada, and it's a long haul to Spring.

       @design_RG  Thank you for your kind word, frankly, I’m not getting used to posting everything about myself online yet,I like to be a private person. But it also depends on the environment (like the mastodon, and the environment that different instance has created). but I do realize the value of people communicate with each other will give each other new inspiration.

       @Sphinx I think in most cases keeping a low profile is a good idea - once information is posted in a social network, it's mostly out of your control. Some places can be pretty strange, there are users in mastodon also who I would rather not interact with (radicalized, opinionated) Just read some posts in the "Federated" feed that are just like the stuff that poisoned twitter. But this server seems civil and polite.
