       @i5heu to be clear, Fossil is a completely different SCM from git. It doesn't work the same way and has some philosophical differences from git.Gogs or Gitea are self-hosted git-based options if that's what you're looking for.

       @i5heu you wrote "git/github alternative", making it quite ambiguous as to whether Fossil is an alternative to git or an alternative to github.You know what the score is, but people reading your toot might not be and if they click the link expecting a git-based alternative to github they'll be in for a surprise.
