@Jami I notice that despite being a #GNU package, your install instructions don't have options specficially for any of the #FSF endorsed distros, like #Trisquel :(https://jami.net/download-jami-linux/

@Jami since Trisquel is the FSF-endorsed distro most orientated towards the average desktop user, it would be great to have instructions for it on your download page. Not only to help current Trisquel users, but to help promote awareness of the distro. Since it's based on Ubuntu/Debian, I assume it wouldn't be too hard to provide Trisquel-specific instructions for adding the appropriate deb repo to 8.0 (Ub 16.04 based), and when it comes out 9.0 (Ub 18.04 based)?

@Jami also, unless it's meant to be like this, I'm having an odd issue with that download page. Whether I choose Ubuntu, Debian, or Fedora, the manual install instructions appear to be exactly the same (repo for Ubuntu 19.04 nightly).

@strypey @Jami Is not enough for you the Ubuntu ones for the #Trisquel case?

@strypey @Jami specifiquely, the 16.04 version, which is the right one for the actual Trisquel version.

@aldobelus It might work, but not every Trisquel user would necessarily know that. Besides, the main point is that it makes sense for a GNU Project member to promote at least one GNU endorsed distro.@Jami
