Has any prominent feminist voice commented yet on @wootsaw@twitter.com's revelations?Beyond the outrage, I think this is a good time for introspection and not just about public outrage and such, but how our minds can weaponize past intimacy into toxic fiction if we feel justified enough.

@vidyut I think women are unsure of their opinions on the situation since a lot of women involved haven't been heard from and he says there's more to come.

@itssynecdoche Wish people had put that much thought also into flinging around accusations. There are people fighting important cases against their abusers. This sort of a thing sets dangerous precedent, and being tightlipped about accountability is only going to make it worse.

@vidyut Ya. I do feel that at the time when accusations against Utsav were being shared, no one foresaw that MeToo India will grow big to have real life consequences. Hence, probably why, people weren't as careful.

@itssynecdoche This is the part I don't get why wouldn't anyone imagine consequences after the sterling examples of Tejpal and Khurshid Anwar?

@itssynecdoche Tehelka fricking lost 40 staff before the cops even decided to take notice. Not just talking of consequences to Tejpal. But people were high on self righteousness.
