On 14th November 2019, the Lok Sabha secretariat uploaded the Bulletin containing Government Business expected to be taken up during the Second Session of Seventeenth Lok Sabha, 2019.We have compiled the data to analyse the PLCP compliance of the bills in the tentative list.Pre-Legislative Consultation Policy(PLCP) 2014 mandates departments to proactively publish proposed legislations in the public domain and solicit comments and inputs for a minimum period of thirty days.

A total of 35 bills (27 new +8 pending ) were listed in the tentative schedule, out of which 20 saw no consultation. From the 15 bills placed in public domain for receipt of comments, 6 of them did not adhere to the thirty day deadline.
