@Curarpikt @alyx as a kid I was in the hospital a lot and I actually liked the hospital. I remember I once packed a bunch of VHS tapes and told my sister we were going to the hospital and that the hospital was fun.We weren't really going the to hospital, I was just going to ask my mom if we could go. To me it was more of a social thing I guess, since I really enjoyed the play-room they had for the patients to do stuff in. I didn't socialize much as a kid so I probably viewed it as a social thing.lol now I hate the corrupt medical profession because most people go in for the $$$ and not because they care about patients.The amount of times me or a family member has been fucked over due to negligence is actually terrifying.

@nerdman Well in the show it wasn't pure gold, but a gold compound, that is presumably more reactive than normal gold. And it was given as a powdered form in food. So it's probably absorbed by the organism completely different than it would be from just being in contact with it.
