       I watched the #truecrime #documentary Abducted in Plain Sight yesterday and it is whack, those parents are just ?? daughter kidnapped, let’s wait five days to report it. daughter returned, let’s keep contact with kidnapper against fbi advice, let’s put daughter on plane to meet kidnapper, daughter gets kidnapped 2nd time by same guy, let’s wait to report it again.just... wtf?? But it was an interesting illustration of how abusers don’t just groom their victim but also the people around them

       @drEkua yeah those parents were awfully neglecting. They even dropped the charged against the kidnapper. Idk how their daughter forgave them

       @drEkua the fact that they kept saying things like: we felt weird about it but it was part of his therapy made me so mad. They knew it was wrong. And apparently they aren’t even ashamed, I mean it was the mother who started this whole publicity thing with her book, idgi, they are awful, they shouldn’t have been allowed to have children (and that mother was still in love with b)
