       Birdsite is so toxic, and I’ve been realising it even more so now that I don’t go there as often as I used to. I’m using it mainly for work, but you do land on the main stream and all the venom hits you in the face!

       @shinjini exactly! I used to put up with the toxicity because every now and then I'd find something useful or interesting. Now I realise that it absolutely wasn't worth it and I can actually be social on social media

       @musafir @shinjini Agree. I'd unwittingly gone into a "walking through a minefield" mode on Twitter  - too scared to set off someone's hurt or anger (or trolling) by saying something they didn't like. Hence kept conversations to a bare minimum and wrote the most non-confrontational things ever.I can feel my voice coming out with more clarity and ease here. @Mastodon @Gargron @stux @AKanisetti @Memeghnad @nilanjanaroy @ranasafvi
