       a while ago i saw someone say that advertising was vandalism and it lit a spark for me. i never consented to this relentless onslaught of manipulative bullshit. gambling adverts are fucking everywhere, and they benefit literally nobody except the billionaires profiting off the misery of desperate people. you cannot believe how ubiquitous and insidious fast food advertising is until you have an eating disorder. literally fuck the concept

       that advertising companies are allowed to insert their (at best inane & irritating, and at worst actively harmful) messages into your brain, at any time, without permission, rent-free. we're all too stressed and caught up in surviving under capitalism to give seemingly petty things like this any attention, but the subtle ways that billionaires control and coerce our lives makes me FURIOUS. :guillotine:
