Also, #fedilab is a very powerful android app which works with most of the platforms mentioned above. It's free on F-droid (you can download this appstore from f-droid.org, and yes it's safe) and paid on Google playstore. #Tusky is another great Mastodon client, free on both the stores.#TootApp is a popular one among many others for iOS.There are many more and the new ones will keep popping up of course, just search for 'mastodon client'.Don't forget to check out federation.network

@goofysufi The artists you find in Spotify won't give away their stuff for free or rely on donations/concerts alone. It's more like Amazon store than a social platform.Floss friendly artists are on funkwhale.

To clarify, Funkwhale currently federates only with itself (using ActivityPub, the same protocol that powers fediverse), and mainly to exchange music between pods and users.However, this is going to change with the next release, as we'll support subscring to artists/podcasts from other fedi software, such as Mastodon.@clacke @akash @goofysufi

@goofysufi @akash @funkwhale What it means is: If you wait for your favorite funkwhalecast to upgrade to the next release when it's out, you'll be able to follow them on Mastodon, Pleroma, Friendica, etc.
