@BhavanaVarun If twitter doesn't change then the migration will be more permanent? The attractive thing here is the ability to have conversation without toxicity and abuse which is as refreshing as going from the toxic Air of Delhi to extra pure Air of the Himalayas.

@purumane If those who mock the movement were restricted to their echo chambers, it wouldn't have been worrisome. But right now, they are trying to polarize opinions of others. Today, I managed to get few friends here who were not so willing to think, about alternative mediums. Shocked to know, they were reluctant to transition because others had rave views about the movement. Hearsay or influence, whatever you say! Its sad that people don't mind poisoning others. Others are fools, to believe.

@aayeff Sincerely hope, this gears up and sensible people find it justifiable. Rumors and hate go hand in hand, but if we have enough people to create awareness about different decentralized mediums, our purpose can be fulfilled. We do hope for a change. It is timely!

@BhavanaVarun The lovely thing about Mastodon is that the software is open source and if the community wants features added, it can be added and deployed pretty quickly.. that would definitely make this a much more vibrant platform than Twitter. I sure hope it gives twitter a real run for users.

@BhavanaVarunUnlike previous exodus, the reason behind it will repeat as the centralized platforms will hurt #freespeech again. Also many people are realizing their voice aren't heard as they don't provide a #democratic system. Wish this movement will have after waves that can bring more to #mastodon, so that the peer pull won't be an issue for migration.

@anivar Glad, that @Mastodon took notice of the questions we've raised. We do believe in open platforms & it's decentralization. Also, it isn't typically commercial like other social mediums. They are trying their best to keep it hassle free. Contrary to that, the question was directed towards the masses as well as the sold out mediums they were depending upon. Exodus, itself says a lot about it, even if the naysayers keep on peddling rumors about the movement. 😊😁
