Got the ocDownloader app installed and working on my Nextcloud server today. It uses Aria2, curl and youtube-dl which allows you to just feed it basically any url and it will download it directly into your nextcloud. I had planned on doing it for a while but never really made it a priority until the wife needed it for something and gave me a nudge to get it done. It is pretty cool.

@kelbot What kind of server are you running nextcloud on? I have a low powered arm64 board I got from a recent Kickstarter that I was thinking of using to host nextcloud. I was leaning toward a docker container so I didn't have to install all the dependencies (and would keep it portable and able to move to another machine, if needed).

@alchemyjones I'm running on an Odroid HC2 and using NextcloudPi for the software setup for about 1.5 years now and it has been completely solid. Performance is pretty good for us with only 2 users so far. Which board is it that you have?

@kelbot It's a libre computing Le Frite board. I got it a few months back and wanted to find a good use for it.https://libre.computer/products/boards/aml-s805x-ac/

@alchemyjones I got one if those too. It would probably do a pretty good job for a few users.

@alchemyjones I highly recommend Nextcloudpi. Its extremely well done and has been very reliable for me. It can be installed on a any debian distro and they have a docker container.

@kelbot That's what I'm looking at right now. It's only going to be a personal instance for my wife and I. I already have an internet facing nginx reverse-proxy running on another machine. I just need to look at the configuration needed for the nextcloudpi container to host through it. Thanks for the tip.
