       @BhavanaVarun on the surface  this is just a platform like any other. The human beings make it what it is. The difference is you have the freedom to set up a server with a mastodon instance and connect with other instances this protecting your freedom. PS: cops cannot enter your house to confiscate the server without a search warrant

       @BhavanaVarun btw the alternative to Facebook is Diaspora and instead of WhatsApp you can use the extremely powerful Signal or flexible Telegram

       @vincentvikram woah! Diaspora, I would look for it. Though, I shunned Facebook a long back due to privacy as well as for better mental health. Telegram, is fine for groups engagements.
