@dikkus It looks cool, but the lack of number keys, function keys and Insert, Delete, Home, End, PgUp and PgDn makes it kinda unusable for me.Model M13 SSK ftw

@redsPL I had to pay a pretty penny to get it new in box. And then I had to bolt mod it because the rivets were broken. Still, I'm satisfied with how it turned out.

@dikkus I'm curious, how much did you pay? I've got my standard one from ebay, it was like $50 + around $40 shipping (America -> Europe shipment costs is terrible). Still probably the best keyboard I've used, It's really fun to type on

@redsPL $275You can get a second hand SSK for a pretty wide range, I've seen them go from 150 - 500. Just depends on who you're purchasing it from. The prices might go down because Unicomp seems to be working on an SSK model again.

@dikkus well, I don't really care about Unicomp keyboards. Heard a lot of bad things about them, and I'd like my keyboard to work for years after I send $300 down the drain.

@redsPL Unicomp isn't actually too bad! There are some things that are better about them than old IBM keyboards, and some things that are worse. The good:1. Smoother2. Crisper (due to a thinner rubber mat in the internals)3. Some modern customization choices, like Super keys, or different layoutsThe bad:1. Questionable QA 2. Key caps fit a lot more loosely in the barrels, which means they shift around a bit. Annoying.3. Font on key caps isn't as good.4. The cases are vastly inferior, they make a lot of creaking noises and are warped. But, hey, it's still buckling springs at least. I would not consider them a good option, though, if you're European, as it can be very expensive to return it to them in the scenario that you get a bad model.
