@papush Corruption is not a random thingIt corrupt bits in chunks that edit a whole small area (depending of the image codec)

@esheep @papush Well, technically datamoshing is only for videoBut for pictures I consider it’s ok to say itOtherwise the generic term “glitch” is ok (because it’s litteraly glitch)

@kast possibly (haven’t read it). i use it as a pape because it makes me thing of halo 1 tbh (and because artificial gravity rings look dope overall)

@papush the nerdy part of me says it can't be Ringworld, because (a) the sunlight falls at an angle, so the sun is not at the center of the ring, and (b) there are no black squares casting shadows, so people there would be living in an endless day, which could get pretty uncomfortable over time :-)

@kast well then if it’s a ref to halo i think the ring orbits a gas giant so it gets nighttime sometimes.only played the first game though, don’t know much about the extended lore. :blobcat:

@papush never played Halo myself, but the land looks too peaceful IMO... maybe a post-war halo ring in the far future? If only we could ask the artist which universe his work is based upon
