My laptop has a cracked screen, so I disabled the touchscreen driver (pid_multitouch). Then when I turn it off, the mouse always goes to the corner, as if I am constantly touching the screen, Basicly, I am then unable to use the GUI.Does anyone have any idea how to fix it, or where should I post to ask for help? I looked around and couldnt find anything.

@jasonl8446 Here is a guide I found to blacklist the touch driver.https://www.blackmoreops.com/2016/10/26/disable-touchscreen-linux/To boot into a non graphical session from grub hit e on the grub menu. Then find the line that starts with linux and add a 3 to the end of it like in this article.http://www.linuxandubuntu.com/home/how-to-boot-into-linux-command-line

@DreamzInDigital The problem is that the driver is disabled, but the mouse moves to the corner of the screen as if I was touching the screen there. If the driver is on, it does not do that, but sometimes it goes where the cracked part of the screen is.

@jasonl8446 The only other idea I had was to open up the laptop and unplug the digitizer so the OS doesn't see the touchscreen at all.
