I can't tell you how much money we put into her. She was a great car but after 2 gas tank replacements, complete upper body restoration, what got us was the cowel vent leaks that led to fred flintstone holes in the floorboards. We sold it for what we paid and most of what we put into it but with two kids by then, well....😜

I took the original 327 which was in need of a rebuild, to a friend of mine who change the crank and stroked it back to a 302. Basically the same motor the Z28s. Big cam, big heads, and goodies too numerous to mention. My father was running a flying school, and I had access to 100 octane Avgas. I was racing at York u.s. 30 Dragway turning times in the Low 11s. Not bad for a street car.
